Hot Diggity Dog

Look at these darling organizers I made using the "Hot Diggity Dog" stamp set (134024).  I am making some of these on consignment for a pet daycare/groomer that we frequent!  I was looking for a reason to get this adorable stamp set!

Remember, you can order these online and  I can customize to your hobby, pet or even purse color!

Stay tuned for more of these fabulous organizers in the coming days!

Remember awhile back when we made these cute little purse organizers in class?  Don't  you think they would make great gifts for some of the peeps on your holiday list?  They are perfect for your purse or desk!  They are hard covered, have a note for receipts, and you always have a notepad and pen ready!   Even better, it is pretty and all coordinates!  Wanna know what the best reason to give this these as a gift is????? They are customizable!  You may choose colors, sentiments, or they can even be monogrammed!!!!  I am selling them for $8.50 or two for $15.00.  Think of all those people that you want to acknowledge during the holidays-co-workers, your child's teachers and coaches, your sister or bestie?  Make your list and order your today!

Birthday Bliss

Today I thought I would take a moment and share the birthday items I made for my daughter's sixth!  We decided on a mermaid theme and had an old-fashioned party at home!  I LOVE planning birthday parties and showers!  I kept our party on a tight budget and spent only about $115 including the food, decor, favors and prizes for games!  I received great feedback from the parents and mermaid guests!  Here are a few pics!
My Little Mermaid

These were the goodie bags!  I got the bags for 50% off at Hobby Lobby so they were about $1.50 for all twelve!

Each was adorned with a beautiful punch art mermaid and filled with treasures from the Dollar Tree!  Cute huh?
Our food was themed too and oh so easy!  Carrot sticks were crab legs, sea cucumbers goldfish, and seaweed made of green grape skewers!  Add some Hawaiian punch for Ocean waves and cupcakes and it made for happy kiddos!
Decor was on clearance at party city so for the hanging sea stars and table skirt I paid $3.50.
My favorite mermaid-the birthday girl-wanted a throne so we grabbed the reading chair from her room as well as her Ariel blanket, threw in some balloons and voila' a throne King Tritan himself would love!
A rousing game of seashell bop-if you got a balloon with a message inside, that mermaid popped her balloon and followed directions-such as squawk and flap your arms like a seagull for a prize!

The ornament punch made for great fishy cupcake toppers-they shimmer too, but that really doesn't show up well in the picture!

We played a few more games and the birthday girl opened her gifts and we all enjoyed a wonderful time!

Let me know if you would like help planning your next parry or  shower!  I can help with the invitations to the thank you cards and everything in between!

Dear Stampers-

I am SOOOOOOO super excited about this month's stamp class!  We are going to make 8 cards- 2 of four different cards. I love this gorgeous, rustic card!  You will use the Faux Redwood technique to create it!  The stamp set-Truly Grateful (131733) - this card features is in the larger idea book and catalog. It also used the oh so versatile Banners Framelits (132173) and Autumn Accents Bigz Die (127812).

Look at the background on these vines-do you see the variation of colors?  That is the thumping technique you will be learning at class!  This stamp set is also from the holiday mini and is called Fall Fest (135194) and  Fun Fall Framelits Dies (135856).

This fun and spooky card features the Holiday Home Stamp Set (135095) and coordinating Homemade Holiday Framelits (135857).  I am LOVING this bundle and have lots of future plans for its use!  We will learn a technique for both creating sunsets as well as creating these awesome silhouettes!
